Your menu, understood by your foreign customers
Five languages in one click. Instant AI translation or human review by someone who understands gastronomy. You pay per use, no commitment.
Which restaurants find this useful?
The tourist bistro
Paris, Lyon, Bordeaux or the Côte d'Azur: half of your weekend customers are foreign. A translated menu speeds up service and reduces hesitation about dishes.
The restaurant in a border area
Alsace, Savoie, the Basque Coast, the Pyrenees: your Swiss, German, Italian or Spanish customers do not necessarily speak French. A bilingual menu puts them at ease immediately.
The restaurant aiming at TripAdvisor
A menu in English signals to TripAdvisor and Google algorithms that you are "international-friendly". Measurable impact on rankings in tourist results.
How does it work?
Three steps, no more. You choose your languages, you choose the mode, you confirm. No separate account, no plugin to install.
1. Choose your target languages
From your manager workspace, section Menu > Translations. Tick the languages relevant to your clientele: English for tourists, Spanish in the South, German and Italian at the borders.
2. Instant AI or human review
AI translation is ready in less than a minute (~€5/language). Human review costs a little more but captures the subtleties: regional dish names, gastronomic vocabulary, wordplay (~€30/language).
3. Review, approve, publish
The translation arrives in your interface. You read dish by dish, correct what bothers you, validate. As long as you have not clicked Publish, your customers continue to see the current version.
The five languages our restaurants use the most
The most requested. Once anglicised, your menu reaches tourists from 40+ countries.
Essential in Alsace, Savoie, Brittany and the Côte d'Azur during summer.
Basque Coast, Pyrénées-Orientales, large cosmopolitan cities.
Côte d'Azur, Savoie, Alpine borders. A clientele demanding when it comes to gastronomy.
Added value in Île-de-France, Normandy and Aquitaine.
AI or human? Our honest advice
⚡ Instant AI
Perfect for testing the waters: launch your English menu before tourist season, see if it brings customers. The model knows classic French dishes and their equivalents. Limits: very regional specialities (choucroute, gratinée, chouquette) may slip through.
Choose for: quick test, seasonal menus, frequent updates.
👤 Human review
A native translator specialised in gastronomy reviews word by word. Regional dish names are translated with their cultural context (not just literally). Wordplay is adapted, not just copy-pasted. Marketing phrases sound right in the target language.
Choose for: stable menu kept more than 3 months, fine dining restaurant, social media communication in the target language.
AI understands gastronomy
Three real examples of AI translation without human correction:
« Velouté de butternut, lard fumé et noisettes torréfiées »
« Butternut squash soup with smoked bacon and toasted hazelnuts »
« Magret de canard laqué au miel, pommes de terre grenailles rôties »
« Honey-glazed duck breast with roasted baby potatoes »
« Crème brûlée à la fève tonka, sablé breton »
« Tonka bean crème brûlée with Breton shortbread »
Frequently asked questions
How much does a translation cost?
AI translation is billed at around €5 per language for a complete menu, human review around €30 per language. You only pay for what you order — no subscription, no commitment. The exact cost is shown before you confirm, based on the size of your menu.
Can I translate only some dishes?
Translation is done at the level of the entire menu. For an isolated dish, you can edit its sheet directly in the target language from the manager interface. Practical to adjust a regional name after publication.
What happens if I modify a dish after translation?
Modifications in French are not propagated automatically to the other languages. This is a design decision: your human translator may have intentionally adapted the description, we do not want to overwrite their work. An indicator signals when a sheet is out of sync.
Do my customers automatically see their language?
Yes. The menu detects the customer's phone language via browser settings. A manual selector remains accessible at the top of the page if the customer wants to choose otherwise. By default, they see French if their language is not translated for you.
Can translations be edited dish by dish?
Yes. Once the translation is delivered, you can edit each dish sheet in each language from your manager. Useful to refine a name, add a local mention, fix an accent. Changes are visible instantly after publication.
